At least you or someone else have some sort of an addiction which can either hinder your progress or help you along the way. Depending on what type of addiction that you have, in most cases, could be deadly such as smoking cigarettes or drinking alcoholic beverages on a daily basis. As an example, someone who is drinking alcohol would go to an alcoholic addiction treatment meetings or centers in order to get better. By socializing with people that do have the same problem that addiction will get resolved and will never go away.

Not all of the methods would work to cure someone from reverting back to the way they were. And the best route is to take them to the addiction treatment center in order to get better. However, it is best to try to convince them to go to the addiction treatment center instead of forcing them because in most cases, that method would not work. How would you like it if someone forces you to do something that you do not feel like doing? The point is that sometimes, you got to give certain people more time to resolve and do something for themselves. Otherwise, those same people would revert back to the addiction of where it got them to where they are now.
The addiction treatment centers should be accommodating to all of their patients with the exceptions of the ones that are really violent. Sometimes, they have to knock someone out for the night which is to use a tranquilizer in order to calm them down in order to do the proper procedure to work on their patients. Only encourage them to go to one.
